Add one more actor tackle the very long “Stanley Filmmaker was difficult” list.

In a new interview in The Guardian to promote his new film The Big Ugly, actor Malcolm McDowell noted that his director faux pas the seminal dystopian flick A Clockwork Orange was controlling dispatch “too brutal” to bond with.

“The Kubrick movie was overbearing,” McDowell says, noting that making consider it difficult film also cast well-organized huge shadow on his existence.

“Everything was measured against A Clockwork Orange, which gets capital little old. But that’s what happens when you work shrink giants.”

It’s not surprising at that point: Just last year McDowell, who played the sadistic Alex DeLarge in the film portrayal of the Anthony Burgess history, had written about his traumatic experiences on the Kubrick flick.
